This was a fabulous cottage with parking facilities in the heart of Whitby. Very quiet location but a stones throw away from the action! A beautifully equipped accommodation, a real home from home. Will have no hesitation in returning.

We have stayed in Whitby before but never had such great contact with the owner. It is the best holiday weekend we have ever had. The cottage was excellent, great showers, great rooms, what can i say, great everything. The garden area was fantastic. We will be back next year but will stay for a week.

South Haven provided excellent accommodation, there was everything we needed. Lovely open plan kitchen/dining area and excellent on-suite bedrooms. Pleasant outside patio areas.

We had the best week in Whitby. The cottage was beautiful; it was exactly what we wanted when we booked the holiday. Very spacious, with a lovely garden. Plenty of bathrooms for the seven of us to share. The sofa in the garden room is the most comfortable sofa we've ever sat on! Had a thoroughly enjoyable week in Whitby; would reccommend Doodlepots to everyone (pot painting studio, situated less than 5 mins away from the cottage). Even the weather held out for us!!

Superb spacious cottage. Bedrooms are all large and no shortage of bathrooms / showers. Ideal location with easy walking distance of town center, beach etc.
Access road to the property is narrow (for a people carrier) but would be no issue for a normal car. Great that it has its own private parking.

Our party enjoyed our weeks holiday at this cottage, it was first class accommodation, clean, comfortable, relaxing, well equipped, and all our needs were met to a high standard. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Whitby, they would certainly have a first class holiday!

We stayed at South Haven cottage for a week, a fantastic and spacious cottage, and a credit to the owners. Everything you could have wished for and more was there, an excellent location and a short walk to the Granby pub where the food was brilliant. Whitby is such a beautiful place - the lovely harbour with the boat rides was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and all the quaint old streets and shops were a delight. We will be highly recommending South Haven cottage to all our friends, also a nice touch was a bottle of wine they had left for us. We also had a brilliant BBQ one night in the secluded walled garden, an absolutely beautiful cottage throughout and we will definitely be going back again in the near future!
